“Public Folder Mailbox” failed
Processing mailbox “Public Folder Mailbox” failed with error: Failed to access public folders.. There are no public folder servers available |
Due to recent changes on Microsoft 365, access requirements have been changed and this has had an impact on the access/backing up of Public Folder mailboxes.
If you currently use an account which is not licensed with at least an Exchange Online license, then you will be seeing the following error on your job in reference to your Public Folder Mailbox:
The resolution for this error as outlined in the below Veeam KB article is to ensure the account you’re using is at least licensed with an ‘Exchange Online’ license.
